In order to qualify for the ISS Jellyfish Pursuit! event in Star Trek Fleet Command, you need to have at least a level 36 operations base. The reward for winning this event – blueprints for one of the most powerful ships in the game, the ISS Jellyfish. You won’t be able to actually build the ship until you’ve got your shipyard to level 39, but the sooner you can get the prints, the better.
It’s supposed to come up once a month, but doesn’t always. Starting with this month’s event, I will do my best to keep these on this page’s calendar.
You’ll get points for spending uncommon or rare G3 or G4 materials, launching uncommon or rare armada directives. It does wind up being a spend-a-thon that caters to some of the bigger spenders in the game, but if you play your cards right, and save up for a while, perhaps you can compete in this event.
I’ve put this together because I don’t think I’ve seen this covered anywhere else, in detail, what this event entails.
Winning the ISS Jellyfish Pursuit event, or finishing second will get you the full 120 blueprints you need to construct the ship.
Coming in second will also get you a complete set of blueprints, but a slightly smaller amount of rare materials
Finishing third will earn you 60 ISS Jellyfish blueprints, and some rare materials.
Placing Fourth will get you 30 blueprints, with some rare materials. Fifth place will get you 30 blueprints, and that’s it.
And that’s it. After 5th, nothing.
Getting the ISS Jellyfish without winning the event
It is possible to get all of the blueprints you need without winning this event. It’s tougher, but it’s doable.
You can get them from Epic Armada chests. You’ll need to be level 36 or above, but it’s possible. As of this current second, I’ve scraped together 19 of them in a little over a month.
Can there be any bigger jump in reward value than going from Hijacked Ship Blueprints at level 35 to ISS Jellyfish prints at level 36?
It’s nuts.
Anyway, hope you found this interesting. I know I was curious about it when I was at lower levels.
Have a great week.
