Two of Ten is the kind of officer I’ve been asking for in the game for a while – another cargo capacity officer that you can pair with Stonn in base-raiding. Now, I really, really, really would rather have seen him be a canon officer rather than an original. I mean, Scopely just got access to the entire Trek catalog, and we’re still getting new officers that players have no connection to, but hey, he does what I want him to do, so there’s that.

Just saying, how much cooler would Two of Ten be if he was The Horta… of Ten.

Captain’s Manuever

Storage Optimization – Two of Ten increases the Cargo size of the ship by 20%

With full synergy, you can get this ability up to 60%, which is marginally less than you’ll be able to get with Two of Ten, another Borg officer, and maxed-Stonn, which would max out at 70%.

On raids where you’re right next to your target, it’ll likely now make more sense for you to use Stonn, Two of Ten, plus one other Borg officer, rather than the current speed crew you’re using right now.

On the other hand, for Territory raids, and other distance raids, you can now have Stonn on one survey ship, and Two of Ten with synergy on the other to give you two ships with increased capacity.

Officer Ability

Extraction Protocol – Two of Ten increases the rate of G3 and G4 Crystal, Gas and Ore Mining by (50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 75%)

I think most players will say that I buried the lede by focusing on his cargo abilities, rather than his mining bonus. But I’m a base raider, and it’s what excites me.

On the other hand, while even maxed out he’s not going to match the mining bonus you’re going to get from Ten of Ten (the Borg Tribble,) he’s still going to be a significant improvement when matched with T’Pring, Stonn, or Barot and their raw material mining bonuses when compared with synergy.

Two of Ten Trivia

So here’s the in-game bio for Two of Ten.

“The vast majority of those who make up the overwhelming numbers of the Borg were not born into the Collective. At one point in time, they were all individuals with their own unique lives, hopes, and aspirations. Two of Ten, known in their former life as Darrohk, was one of those individuals. At the height of their military career, Darrohk was a commanding officer aboard the Lhohnu – a shining jewel in the Romulan Star Empire’s mining fleet. At one point in time, the Lhohnu oversaw the acquisition of more than twenty percent of the Empire’s entire Dilithium reserves. Specializing in mining expeditions in some of the more tumultuous and dangerous systems in the galaxy, Darrohk and their fellow crew aboard the Lhohnu were a force to be reckoned with in the excavation business.”

So as I mentioned above, Two of Ten is an original character here. Likewise, there’s no Darrohk in any Star Trek property.

However, since I don’t want you to go away empty-handed, according to the Romulan dictionary at starbase118.net, Lhohnu is the Romulan word for silver.

So if there was ever to be a Romulan Lone Ranger, He’d have a fiery horse with the speed of light and a cloud of dust and a hearty, “Hi ho Lhohno!”

And with this, I think I’ve stretched this out about as far as I can.
