Before you can start capturing territories, you’ll need to complete the unlock origin sector missions. This will give you access to the origin sector, where the territories you can capture are found. The method of unlocking it is a little on the complicated side, so I put together a quick how-to in order to help you get it unlocked as quickly as possible.
One other note, you’ll need to be at least operations level 25 to complete all five missions.
Origin Sector Sector Missions
First of all, you’re going to want to make sure you get started on the Origin Sector missions. This will start you on the road to unlocking Origin Sector. It’s a lot of flying around, and a little bit of Isogen mining.
By the way, as you get to Origin Sector – Part 5, it’ll tell you that you need to Acquire the Origin Sector Reward in the Territory Capture Store. This is a little bit misleading. Your next step is not in the Capture store; it’s in the gifts section.
In order to complete “Unlock the Origin Sector”, you’ll need to 100 3* refined Isogen.
So how do you get it, when you can only mine raw 1* Isogen right now? That’s a good question.
Easy, you complete the Unlock the Origin Sector event. The top-level rewards will give you the raw 3* Isogen you need to complete the event.
In order to complete the event, you’ll need to mine 1* raw Isogen, or destroy Anomaly hostiles in the same systems you hit in the flash events during the last arc.
You’ll need to mine either 140,600 Isogen, or destroy a number of anomaly hostiles. And it’s rather a high number.

Epilogue
So once you’ve collected all 140,600 points, you’ll get the raw 100 3* Isogen, and purchase the Unlocking the Origin Sector Mission from the gifts section.
And you’ll get this mission.
All you’ll have to do to complete it is to return to your station. This will unlock all Origin space for you.
And then, you’ll complete the mission by finally going to the Territory Capture store. You’ll buy some ISO-emulsion.
And now you can complete the mission. Time to explore the Origin Sector.
