Cadet Sulu Basics
Cadet Sulu is one of the first officers you’ll acquire in Star Trek Fleet Command. His abilities aren’t all that special, but he doesn’t cost that much to upgrade, and he’ll do a good job until you get better officers (like the other Sulu.)
Captain’s Ability
Big Shot – Increases the damage of first shots on the ship by 5% for the first round.
This would be very useful with a ship like the Phindra, with its two shots in the first round.
Officer Ability
Fighting Spirit – Increases the Attack of all the Officers on the ship by (5%, 8%, 10%, 12%, 15%)
Using Cadet Sulu
The “Another Time” crew works okay at PvP, but will work best for you in going after lower-level mission bosses. Cadet Sulu is a command officer, and he’ll team well with Cadet McCoy and Cadet Uhura. McCoy’s officer ability “Psychologist” further improves Sulu’s captain’s maneuver. Uhura’s ability increases the Shield Health of the ship.

A former English teacher, John Cho first came to prominence in the American Pie films. He also made appearances in Wag the Dog, Bowfinger, Evolution,
He made his TV debut on, of all places, The Jeff Foxworthy Show. He followed that up with guest spots on Felicity, Charmed, House M.D., and Grey’s Anatomy. He had a recurring role on Ugly Betty. He’s been a consistently working actor for over 20 years.
But aside from Star Trek, he’s probably best known for being Harold in Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and it’s two sequels.
And Cho is the lead singer of Viva La Union.
