So this is a new type of event for Star Trek Fleet Command, altogether. It’s going to be a month-long, multi-round event. You’ll get a token for each round that will allow you to compete in the next weekend’s gauntlet event.
If you read very carefully, all the way too the bottom of the last in-game announcement, you’d have seen this.
It’s for all players level 18+. The token rewarded for doing well in the previous round will get you into the next round. So each week, more players will be eliminated, and only a small number will qualify for the final round at the end of the month.

Assemble Your Crew – Gauntlet Event #1
The first Gauntlet weekend’s event is “Assemble Your Crew.” It’s an alliance event, and the top five alliances will get tokens to advance to the event for next weekend. They’ll also get a good amount of Heist Loot to be used at the event store.
You’ll get points for this event by recruiting Outlaws officers, by promoting outlaws officers, or from defeating any level Eclipse hostile. Hopefully, you’ll get luckier than I did, as my first pull this afternoon got me no points for the event at all.
Also, defeating Eclipse armadas will not get you any points for this event. Just the Eclipse survey ships.
This is an alliance event, which means two things.
One, only players from the top five alliances are going to advance to next weekend’s events. And two, only players who score any points in those alliances are going to advance, so make sure everyone in your alliance gets on the board.
If I had to guess, I think you’ll see a lot of spending on officers out front, but a lot of hostile grinding as it gets closer to the end on Monday.
I can see this getting very competitive for that fifth spot, and if I had to guess, it will come down to which alliance kills the most hostiles. At least that’s what I hope happens.
And the Goof
The Outlaw Premium Token that you’ll earn for the event says that it will give you rewards for May. Probably just a typo, but it’s an excuse to insert a reference that only those of you over 35 will get. Maybe this is the reason…
