Good morning. The storm has passed, and the Outlaws III events are here, and already, I’m a fan. I’m lukewarm on the new officers, but at first glance, I like these events. There’s an event store, and who doesn’t love an event store?
Event Store!!!!
Compared to the Outlaws II events, these are much simpler in terms of rewards. It’s mostly just Heist Loot that you’ll use in the event store. But that’s pretty great.
It’s got probably the biggest one ever offered in the game. It’s got shards for most of the Outlaws officers. It’s got faction ships. It’s got Franklin and D’Vor blueprints. And considering how many times I’ve gotten asked how you can get these without spending money, a lot of you should be very pleased at this.
It’s even got officer badges.
You’ll need “heist loot” to purchase these, and you’ll get those from the events and the Battle Pass. I’ll be putting out a full guide to the event store later today or tomorrow.
Outlaws III – Battle Pass
You’ll earn points for the Battle Pass, (which for today, is Faction Hunt, which takes over a day off the ETA for my Enterprise.)
It’s pretty standard for a Battle Pass, and also pretty great. Finishing the free portion of the event will again give you officer badges. By my count, 39,500 in Heist Loot (if you buy the $19.95 package, which is as usual, a pretty good deal.)
In addition, there are mission keys, outlaw officer shards, lots of resources and materials, Independent credits, and even a few eclipse armada directives.
And yes, there are avatars. So not every gift is all that great.

Going Out With a Bang
You’ve got two weeks to complete the Outlaws missions to earn a possible 22,460 in heist loot.
Assemble Your Crew – Solo Leaderboard
You’ll gain points for getting shards for Outlaw officers, and points for promoting them. The rewards are heist loot.
You can recruit these officers in Ultra Recruit Packs, or in “Containment Cells” that you can unlock by completing the Rogue Rescue Mission (see below.) You can find these in the Recruit tab.
Assemble Your Crew – Alliance Leaderboard
Like the solo mission, you’ll get points for recruiting and promoting Outlaw officers, but also 20 points for defeating eclipse hostiles (any level.)
Rogue Rescue Mission
Each point of damage you do to an Eclipse hostile will earn you a point in this event. I’m going to tackle this one in a few minutes, then send my Stella to scrap.
