After last weekend’s Gauntlet Alliance event, here comes Gauntlet Part II – Heist Preparation. If you were in one of the top five alliances last week, you should see this event. You’ll want to make sure you complete it.
I don’t want to say that it’s too easy, but I finished it in about 10 minutes. One Stella scrap and rebuild, and done. Not that I’m complaining too much, the rewards are okay… but a three-day event that you can finish in 10 minutes is a bit of a letdown.
You get points for ugh, mining data. 1 point for decoded data, 3 points for corrupted data. I can only imagine how tedious that would be. Luckily, you can complete the event really easily without mining data. (Of course, you still will for the Apex Spy event, see below.)
You’ll also get 1.5 million points for completing one of the Outlaw Prime researches and 375,000 points for any non-prime research.
Or, you can do what I did. which was to get a little bit lucky, and have been reached level 25 with my Stella yesterday, and scrapped her. Scrapping your Stella will give you 750,000 points, and building a Stella will get you 750,000 points.
You’ll also get points for tiering up a Stella, and one point for each Stella particle you get from scrapping.
Once you’ve finished the Gauntlet Part II, you’ll pick up another Gauntlet Token that will qualify you for next week’s event, before the final event at the end of the month.

Apex Outlaw
The Apex Outlaw event is back, I’m not going to rehash all the details here, but in brief, you’re data mining for trophies and Zeta Tokens, and in the alliance event to get tokens for Officer Badges. While data mining is still a bit dull, any chance to pick up an officer badge is a good thing.
The Rogue Trophies can be used in the Alliance tab section of the store to purchase the Apex Research medals that you’ll spend on the Outlaws Research tree.
I think the wise choice would be to direct your Apex tokens towards Apex Rogue Notoriety, which will improve the Rogue reputation you’ll get in the faction store. It’s expensive, 1,000 credits, but 35% is a big increase in the long run.
More Uses for Zeta tokens
In addition to being able to spend your Zeta tokens on Augment officer chests, you’ve now got a couple more options with which to spend them.
You can now spend them in the recruiting tab on a chance to get either a Hijacked Ship blueprint or ship XP. You can also spend them the event store, where you can now exchange your Zeta tokens for Independent Credits.
