The Talla is the second battleship you can construct in Star Trek Fleet Command. It’s an Andorian ship, original to STFC. Its design is that of a stripped-down Kumari.
How Does One Get a Talla?
You’ll need to get your shipyard to level 14, and to complete both “Grade 2 Ship Research” and “Unlock Talla Research” in order to construct your Talla.
You can also grind out blueprints from defeating hostiles. It’s a great build-and-scrap ship.
Using Your Talla
It’s a pretty basic battleship, so you can use it to go after explorer hostiles, explorer bosses, and opponents. Remember the combat triangle. Remember to crew her accordingly. (See below.)
It starts off with a warp range of 13, and each time you upgrade the warp engines, you’ll add one to the warp range. It maxes out at 19. This is obviously before you add Cadet Scotty.

Scrapping It
The Talla is a great ship to build-and-scrap. You’ll put in 2★ materials, and get out 3★. A level 35 ship will return 43 3★ Uncommon Ore and 24 3★ Uncommon Crystal.

Weaponry and Firing Pattern
It has two energy weapons that fire every round. Keep this in mind when you’re crewing your ship.
Crewing Your Talla
Since most players who have a Talla generally don’t have a lot of more advanced officers, but you probably do have the officers for a very effective crew.
Against Players, the “Glory in the Kill” crew will be very effective. Go with Komal as your captain, as he’ll give you a 20% damage bonus on a battleship. For your officers, go with Rukor for the increase in energy weapon damage, and Kras for his ability to reduce officer stats against players (and for synergy.)
If you have no Kras, you can substitute Vixis.
Which leads me to think of the “Call me sometimes when you have no class” joke from Back to School.
Against hostiles, use the Starfleet Academy crew, with Chen, with T’Laan to reduce kinetic weapon damage, and Gaila to reduce damage from hostile critical hits.
Against mission bosses, the Another Time crew with Cadet Kirk, Cadet McCoy, and either Cadet Uhura or Instructor Spock.
Talla Background
The ship itself is named for Talla, the daughter of Shran and Jhamel, introduced in the Enterprise finale, These are the Voyages. She was rescued by Jonathan Archer and the NX-01 Enterprise.
