T’Pring – Your Max Protect and Gas Officer

T’Pring (the woman who scorned Spock and married Stonn in Amok Time) is one of the earliest officers you’ll recruit in Star Trek Fleet Command, and one of the most useful.

Her captain maneuver gives you a 40% boost to mining gas. And if you use the synergy bonus, she’ll get you mining gas even faster. If you’ve got Ten of Ten, it’ll be faster still.

Here’s my Antares, mining gas with T’Pring as captain, Helvia for synergy, and Ten of Ten’s mining bonus, mining almost 20,000 3* raw gas per hour.

Protected Cargo Bonus

So not only does T’Pring give you a gas mining bonus, she gives you a huge boost in protected cargo with her officer ability, “hidden stash”. This bonus increase as you rank her up. She’ll start off with a 50% bonus, and wind up with an enormous 300% bonus by rank 5.

This will help you greatly when it comes to the Ferengi Monday latinum event or any data mining events. You can pair her with Joaquin or One of Ten to further increase your protected cargo.

T’Pring Below Decks

T’Pring’s going to give you a lot of defense below decks. She’s very useful for all of your officers that give multipliers based on defense, like Spock’s “Illogical” officer ability, that gives a shield restoration bonus based on the crew’s defense.

T’Pring was played by actress Arlene Martel. Apart from her work on Star Trek, Martel may be known (at least to me, anyway) as French resistance operative Tiger from Hogan’s Heroes.
